The Golden Rule: A Simple Principle That Can Change Everything

July 16, 20241 min read

We are under attack more than ever in history—or so it seems. I’m not talking about politics. I’m talking about humanity. When did it become okay to treat others like less than human? We treat our animals better than we treat people.

When we look at the unrest in our country, it feels like the perfect time to remember The Golden Rule: "Treat others how you want to be treated."

  • You think differently.

  • You look different.

  • You feel different.

  • You speak differently.

  • You have different beliefs.

And this is all great—because we can learn from one another. We can dive deep into new levels of understanding. We can discover new truths, uncover new questions, and shift our emotional states. When we work together with respect, we can accomplish so much more.

Let’s put an end to hate and remember the Golden Rule. Trust me, I need to work on it too. Let’s lock arms and make a difference. We can’t help others until we learn to help ourselves.

LET’S CLIMB. LET’S UNITE. LET’S DO IT TOGETHER.
